Colony Health
Our colony has been maintained in closed conditions since 2002. Our colonies are serologically monitored and regularly screened for viral and bacterial diseases . Health monitoring reports are available upon request. All pigs are vaccinated after they are born. The USDA inspects our animals annually and inspection reports are available upon request.
Our Facilities
CorVus facilities are inspected by the USDA on an annual basis. They are designed to provide the best environment for producing high health status pigs. The animal environment is climate controlled arinsed on a daily basis. Building temperature and humidity are constantly monitored and maintained. Facilities are equipped with backup water and power supplies. Feed is provided on a daily basis, and the pigs have free-access to water all the time. Our facilities are also equipped with alarm systems in the event of power loss or temperature irregularities.
